Eichardt’s exclusive winemaker dinners are fast becoming the hottest dinner seat in Queenstown, with the most recent edition in March being hosted by Brian Dennis of Amisfield following sold out events over the past 12 months.
Of the 5 courses during the evening, the main; Loin of wild Fiordland venison, Arthur’s Point curly kale, potato roesti and nasturtium Was matched with Amisfield’s 2010 Pinot Noir and was the crowd favourite
We take a break in April to let the winemakers do what they do best, (make wine!) but we are in the planning stages already for the next edition – pencil in May 30th. While this goes on pop into the bar to try our wine flights featuring three Central Otago Pinot Noirs, we think it’s a perfect time to be sitting by the fire and working out what is to be your ‘go to’ for the winter.
