Eichardt’s Monthly Winemaker Dinner was hosted by Christopher Keys of Gibbston Valley last month, and what a great night had by all!ir-leasing.ru
We are now taking bookings for our July Winemaker Dinner, which will be hosted by Chris Scott of Church Road winery:
This very special evening will feature a five-course degustation menu designed and prepared by Eichardt’s Executive Chef, Will Eaglesfield. Each of the five courses has been expertly matched with one of Church Roads legendary wines.
The Church Road McDonald Series is a range of premium, complex wines that celebrate the life and legacy of the late Tom McDonald (1907-1987). Tom dramatically elevated the quality of winemaking in Hawke’s Bay, and his lifelong dedication to creating fine wines helped establish the superb reputation that the Hawke’s Bay region and Church Road Winery enjoys today.
Founded in 1897, Church Road Winery continues Tom’s legacy crafting wines of depth and character using traditional French winemaking techniques. A passion for wine led Church Road Winemaker Chris Scott to Hawke’s Bay where he started his career at Church Road Winery. His winemaking philosophy of using traditional winemaking techniques to add depth of flavour and layers of texture to exceptional quality Hawke’s Bay fruit, stands him apart in creating award-winning wines full of character, and in 2013, Chris was awarded New Zealand Winemaker of the Year by Winestate Magazine.
Seats are priced at $115 per person which includes all food (five courses) and wines for the evening plus a welcome drink on arrival.
Seats are strictly limited and will again sell out quickly. To secure your seats simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 03 441 0450 and we will make your reservation for the evening.
